About Sakhi Poetry Awards

After successful few years, The Woman Inc Sakhi Annual Poetry Awards have now partnered with Beyond Black, the art & culture initiative of Safecity and RedDot Foundation to bring a wealth of support and mentorship opportunities for winners.

Now to be called The Woman Inc. & Beyond Black Sakhi Annual Poetry Awards, they strive to recognize the best of global feminist voices in solidarity with women’s struggle for identity and dignity.

An annual poetry anthology which picks the shortlisted poems is another exciting opportunity for the best submissions to be read by a global audience.

The submissions typically open at the end of every year and winners are announced on March 8, International Women’s Day.
